There are three known subpopulations in Nunavut, all from the Tanquary Fiord area of Quttinirpaaq National Park on northern Ellesmere Island. These are Muskox Wall Creek (where the species was found at four discrete habitats), Yellowstone Creek (one habitat), and McDonald River (three habitats).
